Friends of SCAC is a volunteer organization that works to enhance the lives of the dogs and cats while in residence at Sangamon County Animal Control & Adoption Center, and helps these amazing pets find their new forever homes.
SCAC-AC staff are able to provide up-to-date information regarding the availability of adoptable dogs and cats, and information about services and fees. Please call SCAC-AC staff to inquire about availability, services, and fees at (217) 535-3065, and they will be happy to assist you!

The dogs & Cats available through the Friends of SCAC Rescue Organization are NOT at Sangamon County Animal Control & Adoption Center; they are currently living in a home Setting while they wait for their forever homes.
